A parallel English and German edition, illustrated with fine woodcuts by Fraser (who also illustrated The Lord of the Rings' for the Folio Society). Together with a portfolio of the 46 woodcuts by Fraser printed separately on fine, thick hand-made paper, tied with a green ribbon. Both in creamy green cloth with illustrated paper title labels to upper, and maroon titles stamped to the spine of the book. Housed in a matching cloth-covered slipcase. An un-numbered copy from an official limitation of 200 copies thus. Internally crisp and clean. Toned to spines and slipcase, with some minor marks and bumps externally. Very good. Fraser's bold interpretation of Wagner's libretti, together with a separate collection of finely printed plates. Preliminary essays by the translator, Jeremy Noble, and Peter Branscombe.

Both are housed within a double slip case. Both the book and the illustrations are clean, bright and unmarked noting only a touch of toning to the spines.
