Hardcover. Condition: Good+. 2nd pritning (1st-1923). Essays originally published 1811-1922. xxxvi+315 inc. facs. original t.p.'s; 1929-dated small sig. to front pastedown, a dozen or so lines of pencil notes to rear endpaper & pastedown, otherwise internally clean, tight & unmarked. Green cloth covers clean but front board cloth pigment has faintly mottled fading (this not serious however), spine darkened, otherwise unworn except for top spine which is rather rubbed and has a nick & chip repair which is small but a tad unsightly.
