The TORT code calculates the flux or fluence of neutrons and/or photons throughout three-dimensional systems due to particles incident upon the interacton with the system materials. The transport process is presented by the Boltzmann transport equation. The method of discrete ordinates isused to tread the directional variable, and a multigroup formulation treats the energy dependence. Anisotropic scattering is treated using a Legendre expansion. The emphasis inn this code is a robust, adaptable applicable of time-tested methods, together witha few well-tested extensions. Very good. No dust jacket as issued. Staple holes at top of front cover.
