Soft cover. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. First Edition. The April 1963 issue of Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine, vol 41, # 4, #233. Contains stories by Rex Stout (The Zero Clue (Scared to Death) earlier published in the novella collection Three Men Out), John D MacDonald (Funny the Way Things Work Out), Edgar Wallace (The Ghost of John Holling), Victor Canning (Through the Wall), Leo Tolstoy (The Expense of Justice), and others. Light edge and overall wear to the covers. There is a 4" closed tear to the top right spine hinge and a .625" one towards the lower part of the left one with an associated flap. .875" chip at the top of the spine is laid in. The major flaw is the binding has split at page 30/31 and pages 31 - 162 have separated. All pages are present. A filler with stories by two prominent mystery writers.
