The first edition thus, title page states "Part I" but this volume all issued of this version of the work. Kidder has revised Dick's earlier, more extensive book, omitting the parts…dealing with religious and philosphical issues and retaing only the scientific and astromonical parts. Very good, cloth evenly faded and spine lettering somewhat rubbed.
