    Leather. Condition: Very Good. None (illustrator). A scarce collection of poetry written by two members of the clergy Rev. Richard Chester and Rev. William Bennet Chester. Author's presentation copy with the inscription that reads 'Presentation Copy from the Authors' to the front blank, with an addition inscription to the reverse of the title page that reads: 'William G. Meredyth, With the affectionate regards of his attached friend & Brother - W. B. Chester. Dublin 1850'. With the previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown of 'Meredyth'. Written by the Rev. Richard Chester, the former preacher and curate of the Cathedral of St. Coleman, and the Rev. William Bennet Chester, the Vicar of Killard and Kilmaccluane. A scarce collection of poetical works. In a full morocco binding. Externally sound, with heavy patches of rubbing to the spine and extremities. Previous owners bookplate to the front pastedown, with handling marks to the front and rear endpapers. The front hinge is strained. Internally firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with the occasional handling mark, and light offsetting to pages 190-191. Very Good. book.
