The correct spelling of the surname of the author is Crybrace, misspelt on the title page of this First Edition of 1829 the typo appears to have been replicated and perpetuated for the next nearly 200 years, see Volume 11 of "The Imperial Magazine" of 1829 notifying recent publications for that year, re this publisher's point.) - 1829 - First Edition - Hardcover - Good. Published by Waugh and Innes of Edinburgh. Professionally rebound in 1994 by the late Sydney Aitkin of Ballynahinch, on decorative boards, with pasted on label to spine with correct spelling of surname, ( see seller's images for this and condition overall) - pps 311, Octavo 8vo, untrimmed edges , condition good given vintage, bright clean pages and text generally, with minor intermittent and unobtrusive marking. Apart from some minor loss to the edge of page 148/149 and a small tear to page 155, in very decent order. Lacks original half-title page. Binding tight.
