General wear on cover edges and corners but quite light for age. Contents excellent with a mild separation at spine in couple places. Contents unmarked and clean.

With A Pencil Inscription On Front Endpaper, "Mr. D. S. Bunson [?] Principal Of Academy Waynesville Ohio From The Publisher." Very Good, Some Wear, But Not Worn Through To Boards. Inscribed by Author(s).

Leather shows wear along edges, corners, and hinges as well as spots on surface. Front endpaper torn. Remaining pages are clean and text unmarked. Latin text. Marcus Tullius Cicero (106-43, BCE), was a scholar and statesman who also served as a lawyer during what is now considered the Golden Age of Ancient Roman literature. Cicero is best known for his oratory skills. This book offers readers a selection of his exemplary public speeches, often in favour of Republican values in an increasingly authoritarian political system.

No Jacket. 539 pp + 12 p ads, the pages are lightly soiled and heavily foxed, the inside of the covers has inked notation about purchasing the book and the rear one has a notation that has been scribbled over, the rear free endpaper is gone and the next page has an inked name at the top, the covers are full leather and have some wear and soil, the spine label is mostly complete, this is a solid and usable book.
