This little book consists of 205 pages with a 38 page introduction which covers the history of the play and the history of its characters. Following the play, there is a chapter on the Funeral of Caesar taken from Merivale's History of the Romans under the Empire which covers many aspects of Caesar. Following this is a chapter of critical notes, scene by scene. The book is in very nice condition despite it's age. The pages have a very few notations in pencil and are otherwise free of marks and tears. There is a last name on the fly leaf. The brown cloth cover, stamped in black on the front and gold on the spine, shows minimal wear with very slight scuffing at the corners. The binding is tight.
