Hardback. Condition: Very Good. Reprint. No stated date c.1994. Limited edition facsimile reprint of the first edition of 1895 (No. 126 of 600 copies). [i], 128pp. and 6 black and white illustrations. Balmaghie is an ecclesiastical and civil parish in the historical county of Kirkcudbrightshire in Dumfries and Galloway, and is bordered by the River Dee to the north and east. This book is not a parish history, but merely embodies a few scattered notices of Balmaghie Church since 1615. Of the first Church only a small part remained when the second was built in 1794, and this reprint was issued to mark the bi-centenary in 1994. The book is bound in the original green boards with gold titling on the spine and front board. The book is in very good condition with some shelf wear to the boards and bumping to the top of the spine. The contents are tight and clean with no inscription.

Published in 1994. Facsimile reprint of 1895 edition. Limited edition number 118 of 600 in commemoration fo the Bi-Centenary of the present Balmaghie Church, 1794-1994. Near fine condition, green boards with gilt lettering to front board and spine. Light foxing to upper page edges, tight binding.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. 8vo, pp,224, with 10 illustrations from photographs or sketches by Mr R. McConchie, Kirkcudbright, blue cloth titled in gilt to the spine and top cover, uncut, t.e.g.,cloth faded with some wear to the head of the spine, toning to fore-edge, uncommon.
