ALL IN ALL A NICE EXAMPLE OF THIS BOOK.

Bright gilt lettering to top board and spine. Top edges gilt. The Dean's Handbook (1913), 116pp with index, illustrated with 9 half-tone photographs and 9 line illustrations. Title dulled. Both volumes have former owner's name and darkened panels to endpapers, otherwise good. Size: 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Book.

No date but looks 1910s. Susbscribers edition note bound in to preliminary pages. Clean dark green-blackish hardback binding and gilt-coloured titles and coachlines and blind embossing to spine. Moderate wear to boards' corners and spine-ends, one inch splits to top of spine (both sides) and rubbing to spine-junctions. Page-edges have faded marbling, ink birthday message from an uncle to a nephew to flyleaf, and to back of the same page is an ink name and address (of uncle), light browning to both sets of endpapers, pencil annotations to some pages o/w pages clean and tidy.

Corners and spine ends scuffed, edges a little rubbed, some marks to cloth, endpapers tanned, inscription to ffep Vol1, Vol2 more worn than others with cracked front hinge, solid set .
