The boards have brown buckram cloth. The content has text, full page color illustrations, and other illustrations for Hyperion, Nearco, Man O'War, Ribot, and Native Dancer. The author's signature and limitation # 1921/25000 are on a bookplate. The top and bottom ends of the leather section of the cover have darkened. The front, blank page has foxing; the last page is less thus. The pages have a musty odor. The DJ has a 3/4 in. and a 1 1/4 in. closed tear. About 1/3 of the reverse side is foxed.
