Hardcover. Condition: Good. Hardcover, 6 3/4 by 4 3/4 inches, 127 pages, maps, index, illustrations. No date of publication, my guess 1960. Contents include: "Both Zennor and Morvah claim the honor of being "The place where the cow ate the bell rope." Probably the rope was made of straw, hence the attaction. The place has seen better days." Covers have only very slight wear and the pages are clean.

Condition: Good. 1962. No Edition Remarks. 160 pages. Pictorial dust jacket over red cloth. Contains black and white photographic plates, with fold-out colour illustrated maps. Fold-out maps have some mild tears and creasing. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Unclipped jacket has moderate edge wear with chips, tears and creasing. Water staining to edges, more visible to insides. Mild tanning to spine and edges.

No Jacket. hardback, small octavo, nicely re-cased in red cloth with original sides laid on, advertisements to the front worn and frayed to edges, lacks the frontis map but has an extra map bound in at pp 163, Crummock Water, Ennerdale Water & Lowes Water. The eleven plates are all present as called for and in addition there is a full coloured plate bound in at page 59 and depicting Storr's Hall Hotel, b&w illustrations to the text, 202 + 48 pp.

In this edition the omissions include the plan of Oxford City normally placed as frontispiece.
