Gutes bis sehr gutes Exemplar. Durchgehend mit mei…st farbigen Abbildungen, zum Teil auf Klapptafeln, versehen. Von Robert Rauschenberg entworfene und von Andrew Forge verfaßte Monographie. Auf Seite 3 von Robert Rauschenberg eigenhändig unter einer Abbildung in Bleistift über den gesamten Blattrand großflächig signiert ("Bob Rauschenberg"). In einer aufwendigen (privaten?) Kassette und einem besonderen Design, bei dem Text und Bilder auf einem schwarz-weißen Hintergrund verschmelzen. Viele Tafeln am Ende des Buches sind farbig gedruckt. Der vollständige Text, Autobiografie und Bibliografie befinden sich am Ende des Buches. Beiliegend eine ungelaufene Postkarte mit einer Abbildung eines Combine-Paintings, 1961, von Robert Rauschenberg, 22 x 16 cm sowie ein Polaroid einer Installation.

Designed by the artist himself with a unique layout in which his b/w photographs are overlaid with printed text. The text, which begins on the front cover, is by Andrew Forge. A very good copy in the publisher's printed boards and acetate jacket, with fold-out list of plates, which covers the page block when the book is closed (as issued). Some wear to base of spine. The acetate jacket with slight wear and with missing spot on upper front.
