Duodecimo 13x8.5 cm, wrappers, 7pp. A French historical drama filmed in 1924 Miracle de loups, based on Henri Dupuis-Mazuel's novel of the same title. It was directed by Raymond Bernard with Jean Emile Vanni-Marcoux in the lead role. Undated publication, but an exemplary poster was…designed by the Stenberg brothers in 1927 and the Russian release is assumed to be the same date. The film acquired high plaudits internationally and was considered a French equal to DW Griffith s Birth of a Nation. This little rarity has strong constructivist graphics. No institutional holdings found worldwide. Glavlit No. 73775. Scarce, near fine copy.
