    Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Walden & Stowe, OH. Subtitled, "The War as Seen and Experienced by a Private Soldier in the Army of the Potomac." The author served with the 40th Pennsylvania Infantry Regiment which was Co D. 11th Pennsylvania Reserve Corps. After they mustered out, in June 1864, M'Bride transferred to the 190th Pennsylvania Infantry Regiment. Good first edition copy. There is wear to both spine tabs, the gilt lettering almost completely faded. There is a previous owner's name plate is on the inside front cover. No dust jacket issued. 246 pages.
