False (illustrator). In 8° (18,5 x 13). Pp. 234. Internamente buon esemplare fresco e pulito. Legatura coeva mezza pelle, titolo e fregi oro al dorso. Piatto anteriore un po' screpolato e difettoso al margine esterno. Unica edizione di questo importante testo dell'apprezzato chimico e fisico originario di Cagli (1799 - Perguia 1879). Membro di moltissime accademie scrisse una gran varietà di trattati, in gran parte divulgativi. Questa è tra le sue opere più intriganti che apre agli studi delle strutture avanzate o come scrive egli stesso "Il desiderio di conoscere l'intima tessitura dei corpi e i rapporti della loro molecolare costituzione colle fisiche loro proprietà.". IN questo esemplare non è presente un'appendice impressa nel 1834 e che sembra devesi trovare rilegata in fondo con estratti dalla rivista: "Oniologia Scientifico-Letteraria" di Perugia.

Prima edizione, dedicata al Cardinale Gioacchino Pecci, arcivescovo di Perugia e futuro Papa Leone XIII. Lo studio analizza le proprietà curative delle acque ricche di ferro e manganese del torrente Fersinone. Integrazione al margine superiore del piatto anteriore della brossura, per il resto esemplare ben conservato. Book.
