An interesting 8-page section of cattle brands. The Missions of Rosario and Espiritu Santo and the Presidio La Bahia played important part in the Spanish colonization of this area. Eight pages of cattle brands, many family histories including the Welders, Windberg, Sally Scull, Seeligson, Connor, Adolph Meyer, Otto Koenig, Hoff, Fuchs, Becerra, Albrecht and others. Historic buildings, roads, and towns, monuments, markers and memorials, buildings, clubs and lodges, businesses, schools, churches, towns, etc. Information on the storm of 1942, the tornado of 1902, the Civil War, outlaws and vigilantes of the area, memorials, etc. Fine, bright copy.
