    Hardback. Yellow cloth, black lettering and Army Air Force insignia on front cover, metal clasp binding, 98 pp. Organized in sections dealing with Squadron Organization, Duties of Officer Personnel, Headquarters Section, Squadron Inspection Department, Squadron Supply and Transportation Section, and Squadron Training and Academic Section. The First District Training Command was opened in November, 1941 but was greatly expanded to 650 acres in 1942 at the start of World War II and served as a training base for airmen and crews. The base was closed in 1946. Previous owner's name, Capt. Carlos Emmanuelli, on front paste-down, and stamp of Major Carlos Emmanuelli on front cover, no other marks in book, binding tight. Covers show light soiling, corners bumped. A very scarce, detailed account of the operation of a large air force training base during World War II. Book condition VG. Binding: HB.
