Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 2nd Edition. 2nd ed. (1883). 520pp. Original textured maroon cloth with blind decoration to boards, gilt titles to spine, brown endpapers. VG copy, binding reasonably square and tight, corners a little bumped and worn, cloth covers clean, gilt bright, hint of fading to spine, foxing to page edge and prelims, small ink name on half-title, otherwise internally very good; no dust jacket. Decorative ex libris bookplate on front pastedown of Frederick Jarratt, rector of Goodleigh, North Devon.
