He emigrated to the United States in 1938 joining the faculty at the Illinois Institute of Technology as head of its School of Architecture. He was responsible for designing skyscrapers in Chicago (nnotably the Lake Shore Drive Apartments) and New York (Seagram Building), as well as numerous private residences. Size: 4to.
