Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. 8vo., 313pp. Beautiful Stated Unread First Impression of this novel about a test pilot during the Cold War. Bound in blue cloth with titles in gilt on spine. Square, tight and clean throughout with little or no wear. Some off-setting to end-papers and a few spots to fore-edge. Spine gilt a bit dulled. Equally attractive unclipped dust jacket, (13s 6d net), has some mild edge-wear and rubbing to rear panel. Still fresh and bright with no chipping, creases, or tears. A very pretty collectable copy at a great price.
