Else, Very Good: shows moderate wear to the extremities with mild bumps to the upper front and lower rear corner tips; the upper rear corner tip is rubbing through the colorful paper over boards to expose the board underneath. Faint foxing to the endpapers and fore-edge; the backstrip shows barely discernible sunning, but the gilt titles thereon remain bold and clearly legible; the text pages have tanned ever so slightly, due to aging; a former owner's name and date at the top of the front free endpaper. The binding is square and secure; the text clean. A handsome reading copy, structurally sound and tightly bound, showing light wear and minor flaws - and of course the ink work.
