This is an unusual, detailed contribution to the field of violin playing based on research and experimental observations conducted in the United States and Germany focusing on motion physiology and Gestalt psychology. The author looks at violin playing as it impacts the entire bod…y. It will appeal to both the scientist as well as the violin player. Original black cloth publisher's covers with gilt spine lettering. There is a trifle bit of wear to the top and bottom of spine, and a wrinkle to the front paste down, which appears to have been as originally issued by the publisher. There is a previous owner's name in ink in Gothic-style printing on the front end paper, and a small "Selling Agents ,Cooper Square New York" stamp on the bottom edge of the title page. This is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings and no bookplates.
