V, a-f). Dans les études qui ont été consacrées à ces objets, on les a distribués autour de la couronne d'un seul trépied, sans remarquer qu'ils se répartissent, non pas en deux groupes de trois, mais en trois paires, différentes l'une de l'autre par la structure des manchons et par les dimensions. La solution proposée étant, de ce fait, exclue, le groupement des six têtes et la nature des objets dont elles sont détachées demeuraient incertains. - Wikipedia: Pierre Amandry est un helléniste français né à Troyes le 31 décembre 1912 et mort à Paris 14e le 21 février 2006, spécialiste de la Grèce antique et de ses rapports avec l'Orient.
