Soundly bound. With some scuffing and bumping and leather worn in places. Previous owner's bookplate to first pastedown (Charles Tennant, The Glen - Scottish Chemist and Industrialist). Text is very good with scattered spotting - mainly to margins surrounding images. Gilt edges all round. An impressive and imposing volume. Text in English. Weight approximately 3.9kg (unpacked). Dimensions approximately 445mm high x 385mm x 30mm. A heavy book - but no extra postage will be required, other than that indicated.
