Vintage studio still photograph from the 1963 film. Based on the 1961 novel by Leo Rosten. An Army doctor in charge of a neuropsychiatric ward at an Air Corps hospital in Arizona encounters a variety of tough, humorous, and touching cases. Rosten's novel took inspiration from the experiences of his wartime friend Ralph Greenson, a psychoanalytic doctor who was one of the first in his field to link post-traumatic stress disorder (although that terminology was not yet in use) with the ordeals of war. Nominated for three Academy Awards, including Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Bobby Darin. Set and shot on location in Arizona. 10 x 8 inches.
