Hardback, VG, in Good, unclipped dustjacket, bumped to corners, rubbed to front with patchy colour loss, shelfwear and small nicks to edges and some age-discolouration to the white background on reverse. Tan cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Ex-libris bookplate to ffep, which also has a small biro mark where a previous price has been crossed out. 274pp., b/w illustrations, appendices. Contents clean and bright. The first American book written about the breed. Bill Pferd and his wife, Jane, bred their Deckard Welsh Springer Spaniels in Morris County, New Jersey in the 1970's and '80's.
