Cloth. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. Peter Scott SIGNED, (illustrator). First Edition. 1st Edition 1951.Includes a signed card from Peter Scott. From the library of Robert Gillmor with his name to the endpaper. Gillmor was great friends with Peter Scott. A two-month expedition in search of the rare Ross's geese on the Perry River in Canada's North-West Territories. Robert Gillmor 1936-2022 was a British ornithologist, artist, illustrator, author, and editor. He was a co-founder of the Society of Wildlife Artists and was its secretary, chairman and president. He contributed to over 100 books, and received numerous awards. Book is very good+ and bright. Spine a little lightened. Contents good. The wrapper is very good and quite bright. Edges rubbed and nicked. Small loss to spine tip. toned. More images can be taken upon request. Ref18045. Signed by Author(s).
