1894. (Mass market paperback) Very good. 16pp. 4to, folded. Unstitched and unbound. Scarce. Reprinted from the Bath Herald and printed at the Herald Office North Gate, Bath (1864). There are but four copies on the OCLC WorldCat and all are to be found in West Country libraries. Double column, small font. Includes a short introduction, a report of the areas affected by the flood, including 'Midnight in the Dolmeads; Distressing Scenes', 'Corn Street, Milk Street, and Avon Street', and 'Southgate Street', and then 'Batheaston', 'Radstock', and 'Midsomer Norton'. The photographs, done by Perren, show the 'Dolemeads and Association Cricket Fields', 'The Old Bridge', 'Southgate Street', and 'The Quay from the Old Bridge'. Lightly aged, with some spotting and wear, as may be anticipated. Remains in remarkably good condition.
