Leather is a little shelf worn, gently rounded on corners, sunned over spine with minor loss around head. Prize presentation plate on the front paste down indicating that the volume was awarded in 1883 by the headmaster of Wolverhampton School. A little spotting on first and last few pages else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A particularly handsome binding on this classic work, albeit bearing the patina of age and use.
