Navy-blue cloth-covered boards; gilt titles and design on spine; top text block edge sprayed navy-blue, fore and lower edge untrimmed. 4to. . Moderately rubbed and bumped spine ends, corners lightly rubbed and rounded. Top text block edge dusty, remaining edges tanned. Endpapers lightly foxed. Internally pages neat, clean, bright and tight, barring the occasional spotting. In six parts (books) titles include; The Individual in the Modern World, The Community as the New Unit, International Relationships and the Future, The Races-A Challenge to Civilization, Christianity and the Churches, Civilization and the Way of Life.

He was the first non-Anglican to become a professor of divinity in an English university. Complete in five volumes. In navy cloth bindings. Externally, sound, though with some rubbing and bumping. Internally, firmly bound. Four hinges are slightly strained. Pages are bright, though with some scattered instances of spotting. Very Good. book.
