A woman's increasingly psychotic obsession with her young daughter culminates in a string of gruesome murders. Collins' debut film, following a lengthy career as a mystery novelist and comic writer. Followed by a sequel, "Mommy 2: Mommy's Day," in 1997. Shot on location in Muscatine, Iowa. White titled wrappers.
