First edition seems to be 1938 to about 1940. There wa…s a hardback copy, and this handy copy as with 28 maps on 14 separate cards (one map to each side), then there is the index paperback which includes gazetteer & route finder with 20 town maps with routes through within text. The covers were just that, covers to keep the separate contents together. First edition seems to have been 1938 to about 1940, possibly the 1940 edition went to press in August before the outbreak of war in September 1939, not sure of date of this copy but presume between 1938-1940. Contents with no inscriptions & no markings. If going outside UK, due to size,there will be a postal surcharge. Size: 22 x 28.5cm Approx.
