Contact seller5-star sellerFirst Edition. First edition. In the "Women and Peace" series issued under the auspices of the City University of New York (CUNY). Number 26 of 200 numbered copies SIGNED BY PALEY AND WILLIAMS. "This first collaboration of two longtime feminist and antiwar activists melds word and image to create a powerful call for world peace"… (from the publisher's website). Although the colophon states there were 200 copies printed, of which 190 were for sale, it would appear there may have been relatively few signed copies actually issued. OCLC locates no limited edition copies in libraries and we have seen only one other copy offered for sale (also with a relatively low copy number). 8vo gilt-stamped green cloth boards; unpaginated; illustrated throughout from watercolors by Williams with most plates in full color. Housed in publisher's matching cloth slipcase. Issued without a dust jacket. Fine in fine slipcase. Quite scarce. Signed.
