Hardcover. Condition: Very good +. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. First Edition. 403 p. 32 cm. Mainly b&w illustrations with some colour plates. Cloth hardcover in mylar-covered dustjacket. Chips, scuffs and tears to jacket. Ink inscription on front endpaper. Use and identification of Canadian woods, functional description of furniture, inventories of the contents or buffets and armoires, letters and correspondence, woodworkers' tools, and rarities such as spinning wheels, chandeliers, mantelpieces, locks and latches.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. 413 pages in very good condition. Pages are clean and unmarked with black and white and colour plates throughout. Preface by Marius Barbeau. Previous owner's signature on the fpdep. Page edges are lightly darkened and marked. Bound in red cloth with gilt titles. Faded on the spine and around the edges. Corners are worn with some tears in the cloth. 1ST EDITION. VG. Book.
