Soft cover. Condition: Poor. R. F. Outcault (illustrator). First Edition. Oversize all original Buster Brown color comic 42 x 28 cms stapled. Lacks top cover and 60% half title. Contains fifteen separate episodes each two pages printed in color on one side onlty (see images). These are: The Real Buster Brown., Buster Brown and his Dog Tige., Buster Brown's Joke on Mother.etc. Ending with: Buster's Joke on Nora, Delia & Policeman. First and last pages frayed at edges. No Binding. Condition: Very Good. The famous cartoonist here shows us what can happen if Ma takes a proverb too literally. Mailed in 1908, very nice shape.

Some foxing, mainly on message side, corners creased, a few wrinkles, stamp removed. Ephemera; advertising; children's shoes.

Cloth. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. Red cloth with black and white decoration to front board. Black and white plate frontispiece, illustrated throughout in black and white. Some wear to outer corners and to head and heel of spine. White on front board retouched - can just make out 4 letters underneath. Pages browned, middle signature started, ink mark to one page. Previous owner's name to front endpage.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Not dated, but 1907 or 1908 based on library catalogues. Bound in publisher's cloth, with printed boards. Hardcover. Clean, unmarked pages.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Early printing dated November,1904. Bright blue binding with embossed navy/white imagery of Buster Brown with a dog and suitcase on cover. Very slight age-toning and wear to margins, otherwise near fine. The previous owner's name and date (1909) are written in a child's hand in pencil on the front endpaper and a few tiny stains to pages, otherwise very close to fine. An exceptional copy.
