Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 25cm, pp.41-106, 1 plate, 38 figures, uncut printed wraps, very good (n12.2) - Five articles on birds , meteorology and botany. Of particular interest is "On Ammobroma, a New Genus of Plants, allied to Corallophyllum and Pholisma" by John Torrey (1796-1873), the American botanist whose collection of 40,000 plant species formed the basis of the herbarium of the New York Botanical Gardens.
