Text is in French, Introduction is in English….This unusual and hard-to-find book is a facsimile of Olivier De La Marche's Le Chevalier Delibere, Edition of Paris, Antoine Verard, 1488, and was made by the United States Government Printing Office, Washington D.C. It was published by the Rare Books Division, Library of Congress, Dec 1946. Second Printing.The Reproduction was made from the copy in the Lessing J. Rosenwald Collection, Library of Congress, Washington, DC. It is a Re-bound Hardcover Book in Good Condition. . Illustrated with woodcuts by Verard. Text is in Gothic script. Bound in white quarter cloth w/gilt titles, blue cloth-wrapped boards. The white is smudgy; spine ends and corners are frayed, edges rubbed. Top edge is gilt. Clean, tight, solid. Red and yellow headbands are tight. Interior is very clean and unmarked. Library markings are neat, not messy: stamp on lower edge, pocket and bar code on ffep, number stamp on first page of Introduction, date stamp on flyleaf. 5" x 7 3/4" tall. Introduction iii-xix, unpaginated text pages--72 leaves, 24 lines in a full page of text.
