Soft cover. Condition: Good. 62 pp. Tightly bound. Spine not compromised. Text free of markings. No ownership markings. This copy is smyth sewn. Smyth sewing is a method of bookbinding where groups of folded pages (referred to as signatures) are stitched together using binder thread. Each folded signature is sewn together individually with multiple stitches and then joined with other signatures to create the complete book block. This is the traditional and best method of bookbinding.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. The cover has dark blue cloth. A gift inscription has a date in 1913. A bookplate states that the book was gifted to a library in 1939. The frontispiece is a browntone photo of the author. 26 chapters. The endpapers have a copy of the song, Lorena. The top and bottom edges of the spine strip are a little frayed. The illustration on the front board is missing half of its color. One board corner is a little bumped. Scans e-mailed upon request.

Hardcover. Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. See photos for condition details. Hardcover, original brown cloth boards with gilt to spine. Exterior shows edge and corner wear and rear board has large section blistered. The worst part of the exterior as the cloth on the spine as it is very fragile and very brittle, with numerous cracks in chips present. The internal binding is good, no hinge issues other than some minor pulling. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings. Several quadrants of pages are still uncut, mainly in the front end very back of book. Pages are toned due to age and foxing is present. Some pages show minor corner folds and others show small corner tears, likely caused by pages being not fully cut at the time of printing.
