Hardcover. Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. See photos for condition details. Hardcover, original brown cloth boards with gilt to spine. Exterior shows edge and corner wear and rear board has large section blistered. The worst part of the exterior as the cloth on the spine as it is very fragile and very brittle, with numerous cracks in chips present. The internal binding is good, no hinge issues other than some minor pulling. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings. Several quadrants of pages are still uncut, mainly in the front end very back of book. Pages are toned due to age and foxing is present. Some pages show minor corner folds and others show small corner tears, likely caused by pages being not fully cut at the time of printing.
