A couple of small 0.5 cm areas of loss from the head of the front of the wrapper. The wrapper remains bright and fresh. A very good copy.

Since Mr. Maxwell's tilt at the sharks took place in the same area as my own, since we both used the London Zoological records for some of the biological details we have pondered or enlarged on in our separate tales, and since my meeting with these great fish came about through one Harry Thomson who had once been with Mr. Maxwell, there were perhaps a few of the introductory aspects that we saw with similar eyes. But on comparing the two books now, almost a year later, I feel that our ventures sailed on somewhat different courses.
