Top edge of the text block is foxed, with slight foxing to the fore-edge. About ten leaves of the text block have a tiny ding to the upper fore-corner. Otherwise the inside pages are clean and unmarked. The dust jacket has some edge wear, including a short tear to the front flap fold. It is shelf rubbed and shows some scratches, particularly to the rear back panel. Includes 1600 illustrations, 8 of which are in colour. Number 1397 of a limited edition of 1600 that were published.
