Condition: As new. Gallery Edition Oblong quarto bound in full leather with stamped design and lettering. Illustrated endpapers. Profusely illustrated with colour and black and white (some folding) high quality illustrations. Housed in a wonderful 24" by 20" wooden box with cloth-covered top and bottom and leather design on top to mirror the front board of the book. This is copy 166 of 350 signed by both authors at the rear on the limitation page and is accompanied by five signed and correspondingly numbered serigraph prints by Morrisseau. The titles of the serigraphs are: The Dawn / Shaman Conjuring Speech / Composition with Loons / Young Gulls Watching / Shaman and Apprentice. As new, contained in the original shipping box. "Contains more than one hundred and thirty color reproductions of paintings and prints, as well as numerous drawings and other pictures rendered in black and white, accompanied, wherever possible, by legends and lore connected with the heritage of an ancient culture.". Very scarce now especially with the prints intact. A very fairly priced copy in today's market.
