No Binding. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Not a book but a group of five, 7-inch, 45 rpm classic vinyl rock 'n roll "single" records from the 1960s, combined to consolidate shipping. These vinyl records will play well; they grade "very good" with small, scattered scuffs and scratches. The labels show some rub from being stored together without individual protective sleeves. NONE of these vinyl 45s are shiny new, NONE of them grade "near mint." But at a very reasonable price you get the ORIGINAL RELEASES of Jimmy Norman's "Here Comes the Night -- Part I and Part II" (on the Good Sound label, 1961), Ben E. King's "Stand By Me" (produced by Leiber-Stoller, 1961 on the Atco label), Sam & Dave's "Hold On! I'm A Comin'" (1966, on the blue Stax label -- and frequently heard at the end of Donald Trump rallies, for some reason), James & Bobby Purify's "I'm Your Puppet" (Bell Records, 1966), and Aaron Neville's "Tell It Like It Is" (on the Parlo 101 label, also 1966.) DESCRIPTION - The original aim of the Editors of this series was to produce annually a small collection of translated poetry, amounting to little more than a sheaf of translations. Accordingly, in 1945, the first number was published as a slim paper-bound volume, but the response it evoked was such that it was decided with this number, and subsequent issues, to adopt the more permanent and durable form of a book. In the present collection fifteen languages are represented by the newly translated works of over one hundred poets, including Sappho, Horace, Dante, Lorca, Gabriela Mistra1, Baudelaire, Valery, Apollinaire, Holderlin, Heine, Rilke, Franz Werfel, Pushkin, Solovyev and Boris Pasternak.
