Sin Encuadernar. Condition: Muy bien. Typewritten Postcard to Fermin Estrella Gutierrez signed and dated. In the mid ofl30s there was a German translator interested in the work of Juan Filloy. This is G. H. Neuendorff, who on March 1, 1934 wrote to the Cordoba author: "I would like to publish much more [than] what the circumstances of the moment allow me. (.) I see in you, and in other refined and cultured spirits the true representatives of the Argentine soul ". The other refined and cultured spirits were Elijah Castelnuovo and Leonidas Barletta, whom Neuendorff had already translated. De Filloy, he intended to translate Estafen, but, as noted in his letter, the political circumstances of the moment were not conducive to him. The only thing he managed to translate and publish from Filloy was a poem by Balumba, which he included in an anthology of Latin American poetry, entitled The flute and the guitar. Neuendorff lived 10 years in Buenos Aires, until 1928). When he returned to Dresden he devoted himself to translation and the study of Latin American authors. During the Third Reich (Neuendorff belonged to the social democratic party that Hitler dissolved), he dedicated himself to publishing anthologies of rather regionalist literature. He returned to contact the Argentine authors at the end of World War II, but, interestingly, he never communicated with Juan Filloy again.

Sin Encuadernar. Condition: Muy bien. 1ª Edición. 16 pages with the print proof with corrections signed by the author with his seal. Georg Hellmuth Neuendorff (born October 26, 1882 in Belzig, Brandenburg Province, March 14, 1949 in Dresden) was a German writer and reformist. He founded the Dürerschule in Hochwaldhausen in Hesse, which existed from 1912 to 1920, student's suicide in October 1920 finally exposed systematic abuse of several boarding school students by Neuendorff. The headmaster tried to escape his responsibility by fleeing to Argentina. Nevertheless, he was caught and sentenced to 6 years in prison and loss of honor in 1924. The Dürerschule was closed at the end of 1920 and the Bergschule was founded in 1921. After his release from prison, Neuendorff settled in Dresden, where he lived at Arnoldstrasse 31 until his death. From then on he worked as a writer who dealt with the so-called German abroad. However, South America increasingly became the focus of his interest, which had been awakened by his temporary stay in Argentina. From 1935 until his death, he published over 80 essays and books on Latin American topics. He also translated the works of South American authors into German. E1. Firmado por el autor.
