Softcover. Softcover. Quarto. Glued wraps with color illustration. (4) 5-96 pp. featuring many color and b+w illustrations. This exhibition, "Gertrud and Otto Natzler: Collaboration/Solitude," is the third in The American Craft Museum's "Master Artist" series of retrospectives, which concentrates on the most important figures of… the American craft movement. The unique collaboration of this husband and wife spanned two continents and four decades, ending in 1971, when Gertrud died. Most of their vessels were produced in the small kiln they brought to California, in 1938, from Vienna. For this exhibition, an attempt was made to reflect the panorama of Otto's glazes and the range of Gertrud's forms. VG some small marks on white cover, all pages in excellent condition.

paperback. Condition: Good. Our good condition books are generally good for reading but not for gifting or collecting. They could have imperfections such as creasing, fanning, inscriptions, margin notes, yellowing, staining on edge or cover or pages, bumps, scuffs, etc etc (sometimes multiple of these). It's a wide category that… encompasses anything that isn't almost-new down to anything that is slightly better than poor. We would NOT recommend gifting Good books - these should be considered reading copies. Our books are dispatched from a Yorkshire former cotton mill. We list via barcode/ISBN so please note that the images are stock images and may not be the exact copy you receive, furthermore the details about edition and year might not be accurate as many publishers reuse the same ISBN for multiple editions and as we simply scan a barcode or enter an ISBN we do not check the validity of the edition data when listing. If you're looking for an exact edition please don't order (at least not without checking with us first, although we don't always have time to check). We aim to dispatch prompty, the service used will depend on order value and book size. We can ship to most countries, see our shipping policies. Payment is via Abe only.

Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: New. 1st Edition. Los Angeles: Los Angeles County Museum of Art, 1968, 1st edition, 3500 copy limitation signed by Otto Natzler. 4to; 81 pp. Hardcover, author signature and inked gift inscription with date on front endpaper, sunned with light shelf wear, text interspersed w…ith photographs, new glassine wrap (included original polyvinyl dust cover, fair with losses at extremities). Photography by Max Yavno. Very good with new dust jacket. Item: Tall Cylindrical Bottle Artist(s): Gertrud (1908-1971) & Otto Natzler (1908-2007), Austrian. Material: Earthenware. Production date: 1968. Tall cylindrical bottle, straight vertical profile, terminates in a narrow bottleneck opening. The vessel features a dark cat's eye reduction fired glaze with melt fissures. Hand-signed script signature to underside: [NATZLER] with typed archive alphanumeric designation: [O166]. Catalogued by Gail Reynolds Natzler. Measures: 16 H x 3 D in (41 x 8 cm). Approx. weight: 3 pounds. Provenance: The Private Collection of Gertrud & Otto NATZLER, retained directly by the artists for their personal repository. Managed and preserved post-mortem by the Natzler Family Trust. Note: Offered is a piece chosen by the Natzler's as an especially significant example of their practice and drawn from the collection they assembled for themselves, produced in 1968, a year that represents a peak creative window for their legendary 30-year artistic collaboration. Excellent original condition. Structural State. The 16-inch vertical earthenware frame is completely stable with no structural cracks, base chips, or neck repairs. Surface & Glaze Status: The Dark Cat's Eye glaze features heavy, dense melt fissures across the facade. To an untrained eye, these cratered fissures and exposed textures might resemble surface damage or glaze crawling. However, these are intentional, chemically driven kiln-mutation features designed by Otto, highly prized by mid-century collectors. Signed by Author(s).

Buch. Condition: Neu. Neuware - Erskine May is the eponymous guide to parliamentary practice and procedure, providing accurate and detailed information on the constituent parts of Parliament, its powers and jurisdictions, membership of either House, financial procedure and the process of debate.Alongside the incremental changes…to and refinements of parliamentary practice which happen all the time, the 25th edition covers many significant developments since the last edition in 2011, including:\* A new chapter on 'English Votes for English Laws' introduced following the 2015 General Election, which details the varied and complex ways in which these engage with both primary and secondary legislation. \* The process of implementing the outcome of the 2016 referendum on the UK''s membership of the EU. An account is given of the procedures in both Houses for the scrutiny and approval of the transposition of EU law into UK law.\* Further parliamentary consequences of the coalition government that took office in 2010, including the reforms introduced by the Wright Committee, the evolving impact of the introduction of the new category of 'backbench business' and the election of Deputy Speakers in the House. \* An e-petitions system overseen by a new Petitions Committee set up in 2015. \* Changes to select committee working practices and powers under their new elected chairs.\* A new financial timetable introduced in 2017 with the Chancellor''s annual budget statement moving from Spring to Autumn, and a change to how Estimates Day debates are handled.\* Important reforms to how the conduct of both MPs and members of the Lords is governed and how breaches of the respective codes are pursued. \* Continuing arguments over the future of parliamentary privilege. Recent relevant court cases and developments within Parliament are assessed, including the 2013 Joint Committee on Parliamentary Privilege.
