Some rub-marking and foxing to pastedowns and endpapers with inscriptions to front. Boards have moderate shelf wear, with rubbing and marking. Light bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Boards are slightly bowed with sunning and water damage.

Mild wear at spine at hinges; slight creasing to front cover; unmarked throughout; 256pp. This was Muspratt's first book, in which he describes the six months he spent on the Solomon islands in the 1920s running a coconut plantation.
