Cloth Over Boards. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Signed, First Edition. This first edition has a severe bump upper corner of the front cover, other corners have slight bumpings. Cloth of the back hinge beginning to seperate in the middle. Light wear at the head and foot of the spine. Library catalogue mark near foot of spine. Some minor wear and scratches of cover cloth. Library stamp upper and lower textblock edges, very light dirt lower corner of textblock. Endpaper gutters are solid, little shadowing. Front paste-down has two library bookplates. Lower fep has a stamp just below author's inscription. Frontisportrait quite good. Small library stamp bottom of title page. Stamp repeats near gutter of page 34, slight crease upper corners of pages 88 & 159, slight break between 192/193, Library stamp lower back fep, pocket with card on back paste-down. The author's inscription reads as follows {very carefully done}: "To Luisette with my love. Helen Keller. April 11th, 1938". Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Signed and Inscribed By Author.
