Bonanza Books first printing (a reprint of the original Bloch and Osborn Publishing Company edition published 1973). xvi, 224, [2] pages. Hardcover: H 28.25cm x L 21.5cm. Dust jacket rubbed, shallow chip at spine head, a few nicks and slight curling at panel edges. Light blue cloth spine lightly scuffed at ends, dark blue boards. Faint stain at lower fore-edge. Interior pages are bright and clean. Binding is firm. A very good+ copy in a very good- dust jacket. With a total of 146 b/w illustrations (including photographs, line drawings, and concluding foldout diagram), front and rear endpaper map illustrations, Foreword by Edouard A. Stackpole, Preface, Acknowledgements, four appendices, Bibliography, Glossary, and Index. ISBN 0517261901.
