With this knowledge he will be better able to initiate research in this field and probe into the causes of malfunctions in the system. Agricultural extension worker will be better able to advise their farmer clients as to which source most nearly fits the needs and conditions for the different types of financing in their farm business. PROLIFICALLY ILLUSTRATED in black-and-white photography with accompanying descriptive captions. From the Preface: "The importance of Melanesia to Australia is obvious. The Melanesians are the nearest neighbours of the Australians and it is fortunate that there has been close contact between the two regions for the past 80 years. When the Melanesians are self-governing, it is both likely and desirable that this contact, with its mutual benefits, should continue. It is necessary that Australians should have knowledge and appreciation of the cultural background, history, and the way of life of the peoples of Melanesia. The Melanesian people have an extremely rich cultural background with a range of fascinating art styles. the Australian Museum possesses outstanding collections of Melanesian artefacts in general and, in particular, of specimens of its art." 61 pages. *NOTE: Due to size of book additional shipping may be required for out-of-U.S. shipment in accordance with destination.
